   FRC Flame Inhibitor


FRC Flame Inhibitor is a non-hazardous, non-toxic interior flame retardant. It is a clear, water based, non-toxic product, formulated for use on natural and synthetic blends of fabrics and other porous substrates. FRC Flame Inhibitor requires minimal application training to provide a superior, safe and effective fire retardant treatment. It was formulated to be user friendly and can satisfy most fire retardant requirements without the need for multiple products or formula modifications.

FRC Flame Inhibitor is an effective fire retardant. Fabric treated with this flame retardant will not support combustion glow or flaming in the presence of a flame. Removal of the flame will show charring. Treated fabric is permanently fire resistant provided the goods are not laundered.

Recommended Use

Fabric can be applied by spray, dipping or padding applications. Spray at approximately. 300 square feet per gallon by spray method or, if dipping materials, extract excess by use of spin cycle (washer), extractor (Industrial), or by wringing out (by hand). Then simply allow to air dry at normal room temperature or force dry with a clothes dryer.

Fire Retardant Additive for Waterborne Paints


Our Fire Retardant is suitable to be used as a fire retardant additive for latex paints (emulsion or waterborne paints). It can be mixed with any latex paint or latex base stains and since it is not premixed with the paint, it allows for an unlimited selection of colors and an extensive choice of paint brands.

The flame retardant coating acts to delay the surface spread of flame and is recommended for use at the escape route such as stairways and corridors of buildings.

MAJOR BENEFITS:

  • Recommended for use at escape route or on combustible substrates such as wood or plywood.

HOW TO USE

1.)  Fire Retardant Additive solution is diluted by water to the decided active content. For general purpose use, mix 1 gallon of Fire Retardant Additive solution with 2 gallons of water. For maximum fire retardant, mix 1 gallon of Fire Retardant Additive solution with 1 gallon of water.

2.)  Mix the diluted Fire Retardant Additive solution with any latex paint (emulsion paint).
